Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how cormsor ("we", "us") handles information when you use our web search assistant.

Information we process

• Your questions and attachments. The text you type and any image or document you attach are sent to our servers only to generate an answer. We do not use them to build advertising profiles.
• Chat history. Your past chats are stored locally in your own browser (localStorage) for 30 days. They are not uploaded to a central account and you can clear them any time from the sidebar.
• Technical data. Like most websites, our infrastructure provider may process standard request logs (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver, rate-limit and secure the service.

How answers are generated

For web questions, search keywords derived from your question are sent from our server to our own self-hosted SearXNG metasearch server, which retrieves results from public search engines. Your IP address and browser details are not forwarded to those search engines. The results and your question are then processed by open-source AI language models running on Cloudflare Workers AI. Attachments (images and PDFs/text) are analyzed to produce a response and are not stored long-term by us.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Chat history and your interface language choice are kept in your browser's local storage.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Content you submit may be processed by our service and infrastructure providers solely to operate the service.

Your choices

You can delete your local chat history at any time, and you can contact us to ask about data handling at contact@cormsor.com.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
